FRIENDSHIP
FRIENDSHIP
"What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear. What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer."
"When you're down and you're troubled; when you need some loving care care; when nothing, oh nothing, is going right. Close your eyes and think of me..."
The first verse is from a church song, "What A Friend We Have in Jesus." The second verse is from a secular song "You've Got A Friend," by Donnie Hathaway and Roberta Flack.
Each is representative of the many evidences of proportional parallels that have been found, that are to be found, in everyday life. "Friends" or "angels unawares" seem to have come out of nowhere, just in the nick of time, either to help us, or to prevent us from somehow harming ourselves . Who cannot look back and give praise for such people, whose Intercessory interventions enabled us to be here today? I dare say no one . Not one! "Friendship" is called grace. God's grace. God's grace is what gives you the victory.
