CORRELATES AND CAUSALITY

CORRELATES AND CAUSATION Correlatives correlate. Correlation being things that tie-together in some manner, known or unknown . In ninth grade science, we learned of spontaneous combustion, when oily rags in an enclosed space can combust into flames on their own. Another correlation is the election of Donald Trump as United States President, following two terms of Barack Hussein Obama, the first African American, whose electoral improbability was even more improbably, exceeded by Donald Trump, who had never held office ! Correlates may and have defied all well-known principles of causation. Grain dusts, for example, explode, when dusts' air-borne, particulate matter combines with certain heat, pressures, lack of humidity and aeration, to combust without fire . No one yet knows why or when it may do so again, or for a first time! Other suspected correlates include such natural occurrences as rain, sunshine, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, droughts, blizzards, ice ages, floods, flora-fauna extinction. Perhaps the greatest correlate of all is earth, is life on earth, is each unmatched life on earth or thing. Here again causality is clueless. Yet correlates or correlatives multiply!
