How Trump won still defies rational explanation . The historic roots of Trump's victory date back to 1789, when the United States Constitution, with its Electoral College and 3/5s Clause, was ratified by the newly independent states . Trump did win the electoral college vote, the only one that truly matters . He lost the popular vote by millions. So the issue of who did not vote is ultimately a false issue.
President Donald Trump is a loose cannon, so to speak, like Alaric, the Vandal and Visigoth chief who toppled Rome: barbaric, cunning, crafty, convulsive, bent on glory.
Not only did he defeat political veterans like Hillary Clinton, but he also beat 17 others in the GOP primary. All were, politically, more savvy than himself. Trump had never political office before. His Republican opponents, now trophies , included Senators, Governors of swing states like Texas and Ohio . Trump shredded them and those who were behind them . Given the pendulum like swings in American politics, it may be that President Trump is a course corrective, he is surely coarse !
Who or what is behind Donald Trump is the pertinent question. Who's branding Trump and whose brand is he masking? We do not know, as yet, but if we follow the money like Hansel and Greta did the cookie crumbs, we shall soon enough discover Trump's wizard!
