MY BIBLE STUDY WITH THE LATE REV. AARON NEAL.
An old friend of mine, Rev. Aaron Neal, now deceased, taught me how to savor scripture: to taste it, each syllable of it. To take my time, when doing it. To read is one thing. But to savor it is quite another thing, altogether! A dramatic, even traumatic difference is experienced, as new insights, meanings, associates, yield to your touch, humbly, sweetly, obediently, conjugally, reverently, blessedly.
