VOIR DIRE

The avowed purpose of the current voir dire system is to weed the cretinous ones out, I.e. Bigots or racists. Ha! However, in too many instances, the judge is actually a cretin, too! Years ago in Missouri , I had proposed an alternative pick-6 jury system, in which each side would get to pick the 6 jurors that they wanted, after the jury panel was cleared by the judge, without any peremptory challenges from either side ! Never got traction back in the 1980s. Maybe now it might, Doc Bass! Thanks 🙏
