POWER BEGINS WITH LAND

POWER BEGINS WITH THE LAND It goes without saying that food, clothing, shelter, water, fellowship are foundational to society. Thus, any insurgency lacking in any of these material effects is doomed. "Fellowship" surely includes shared doctrine, taxation, trade, religion, education , values, money, vision, health care, communications, love. Soldiers eat, wear clothes, require shelter , water, fellowship to win, in addition to arms, training, officers, wages, munitions and resupplies. The Civil War is an example . The insurgent South was winning as long as it had black slave labor to secure its foundational needs. But, in 1863, with the Emancipation Proclamation and military drafting of hundreds of thousands of former slaves (and freed men) in the Union army to fight, spy, and erode the South's foundations, the tables slowly began to turn in favor of the North. In fact, what had been indispensable for the South--black labor, allegiance, acumen --now became such to the North amid the American sectional struggle for continental, doctrinal, supremacy. This foundational lesson must be taken to heart , borne in mind, by any other insurgents who covet taking power in the United States of America or in any other nation. Power comes from the land and works its way up to nether climes.
