FORTY YEARS FOR A DEGREE
Forty years of intensive study were required to in order to become a scribe in ancient Kemet (Egypt).
I can well understand that length of time, given the breadth and depth of their amazing corpus, ranging from geometry to medicine, from poetry to astronomy, from music to hieroglyphics and all in between .
It is well enough just for us to deem our selves to be educated after a 4 year college degree or 3 or 4 more for a professional or Ph. D. Degree.
