SMOKY THE BEAR

"Only you can prevent forest fires," Smoky the Bear used to say. But, the fact is, far more forest fires occur naturally in nature than are set by man, any where on earth. So, "only" is a misnomer, untrue. Nature, like man, causes forest fires, as nature causes all else that is usually attributed to man, but of which man was only nature's man!
