AT THE DANCE

AT THE DANCE Asking a girl to dance, especially to slow-dance, at a club or at a party can be an anxious, stress-filled moment for most males, both young and old. The put-down, the put-off, or the public denial are all possibilities. Each carries its sting of embarrassment. Having experienced all 3 at some point in my partying career, I offer a few words of advice to the fellows: Start at the top and work your way down! Translation : ask the finest, the prettiest girls first. Then, keep asking until someone inevitably consents. On the female-side, there are also the equivalent female stressors and anxieties of intra-female competition, which pretty girls (is any girl not "pretty"?) seem to handle more deftly than the less pretty ones, I have consistently found. Whatever their motivation, when they consent, seize and maximize the valuable time! And enjoy the moment! Woman is God's gift to man. Man is God's gift to woman. Enjoy the dance and your partner and go accordingly.
