Yet, for all of Lincoln's negatives, many of which are chronicled by Lerone Bennett, Jr., in his searing book, FORCED INTO GLORY, the slaves, free blacks, and abolitionists rejoiced that despite his "white supremacist" bent, in the end, he did the right thing in issuing the EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION, and in enlisting 200,000 black soldiers, whose strong "sable arm," dealt the death blow to slavery!

Spielberg has not learned anything about undoing racism
since "Amistad".
"Lincoln" is a film for Spielberg to work out his
relationship with his dad. He needs help to work out his
threadbare relationships with non-Caucasians.
