The US election of 2016 was more than the election of Donald Trump. It was the plebiscite on America by forces, whose forebears had earlier sought its dissolution in a Civil War.
Cretinism, lies, plunder, war, racism and environmental destruction are patently among the many nebular, political, economic, philosophical , pedagogical carryovers embedded deeply within the hearts and minds of these warped constitutional voters or/of "originalists," nee white supremacists now "conservatives."
The catalyst for it was ignited by a wholly unexpected two-terms as President for a black man, Barack Hussein Obama, 2008-2016. This engendered fears of white power obsolescence, an unspeakable heresy in American racial history. The Supreme Court opened up the federal elections to big money in its "Citizens United" decision, the first and final bastion of whites' power!
Money awakened Donald Trump and his clutch of global myrmidons. So by hook, by crook, by hypocrisy, lies, cupidity, they reawakened the latent cupidity of "forgotten white people" theme as "make America great again," winking and nodding!
Now perhaps they can finish what they had earlier began in Civil War!
