ANCIENT EGYPTIAN MEDICINE
"'Very early, Egypt went through a period of intense scientific development. The 365-day year was introduced as early as the year 4200 BC. By the year 3300 BC, ancient Egyptians knew how to write down a number as high as 1,422,000; and , as from 1850 BC, they knew the exact formula for calculating the volume of a quadrilateral pyramid :
V=h/3(a^2+ab +B^2)(3)....'
"The 'Papyrus Ebers' is humanity's first medical encyclopedia; it contains the first reference to the taking of the pulse. In the contemporary annals of ancient Mesopotamia , there was nothing of this quality, absolutely nothing... in sum, ancient Mesopotamian medicine (Chaldean, Akkadian , Assyrio-Babylonian) was far below the level of Egyptian pharaonic medicine. And before the advent of Hippocrates , it was ancient Egyptian medicine that influenced the medical schools of Asia Minor.
"Hippocrates himself drew some of his expertise from the Egyptian tradition of medical science: 'The scattered borrowings from Egyptian medicine found in the work of Hippocrates in no way detract from his glory. Neither do they substantially diminish the originality of his work. What they do help to demonstrate, however, is the great intellectual influence exerted by writings dating back to the era of the pyramids....
"The fact is Hippocrates was a great initiate of the temples of the Egyptian Thoth. The historical issue here is one of real importance for the cultural consciousness of humanity: how to understand and keep in mind the fact that millennia before Hippocrates , the medical science of ancient Egypt already included the seeds of knowledge that were to grow into the medical traditions of Greece and Rome; and that in the specific case of Rome, those seeds continued to grow right until the birth of the modern West, that is to say, all the way into the 17th century of this era.
"Apart from its strictly scientific and scholarly value , the medical universe of ancient Egypt has another-- and no less fundamental --dimension. This was the 'anthropological' aspect, that quality thanks to which body and mind, illness and tradition, individual and society were all interconnected within a holistic healing context. For that reason, ancient Egyptian medicine, like so many other African medical 'traditions ' of our own times, was eminently psycho-somatic.
"Every scholar writing on ancient Egyptian medicine has felt compelled to highlight it complex, vibrant character , in which scientific , magical, and religious practices combined to produce an effective therapeutic system . For the range of resources available to the practicing 'sau ' (who, in addition to being a veritable medical practitioner, might also be a magician, exorcist, healer, witch doctor, etc) included the power of words, the potency of speech, the efficacy of ritual motions thousands of years old, and the trust invested in amulets, talismans, and medals of all sorts. As the author of the 'Papyrus Ebers' says: 'Mighty is the power words on drugs, and mighty the power of drugs on words.'...
"African medicine, a body of knowledge dating back to ancient Egypt, is an immense treasure house of science and know-how , filled with ideas and rooted in the black African cosmo-biological worldview of the recent and remote past. The study of medicine as well as of the history of science would benefit greatly from increased knowledge, more widely propagated, of that heritage.
"The time has come, no doubt, for us Africans ourselves to marshal all resources we need to organize the systematic exploration , financed by ourselves, of the universe of Ugandan medicine, with an emphasis on the advanced scientific knowledge of its surgeons, beneficiaries of a long scientific tradition that is practically unique in all of black Africa, as evidenced by the following landmarks:
--1879: Successful caesarean operation , reported by Dr. F. W. Fellin;
--1911: Surgical incision into the flank of warriors suffering from spear wounds , followed by the reinsertion of their entrails, reported by John Roscoe;
--1979: Still current surgical practice by 'basawao banunzi,' bone doctors, reported by Diane Zeller."

PITHINESS
LITERACY, NUMERACY
LITERACY AND NUMERACY ROCK!
Literacy is proficiency with letters.
Numeracy is proficiency with numbers.
Lacking either proficiency disables you. Lacking both skills, proficiencies stultify, limit, embarrass, circumscribe.
Get whichever, literacy/numeracy as you may lack of them from anyplace , from anyone, so that you can restore, remedy your deficiencies. Thereby you increase your mental, spiritual, social, economic, political integrity in society.
Thereby you regain anew, thereby you restore your sense of worth; restoring your soul, making it whole, bold, cold, viable, confident, capable, competent, lethal as well! Literacy/numeracy rock!
FACTOR IN FINANCES
FACTOR IN FINANCES FOR FREEDOM
Numbers must be an integral part of any serious attempt to resolve the domestic matter of imposed isolationism of African Americans, from economic opportunity for all.
Trade imbalances bedevil our black trading people by any metric, be it foreign, national, internal, state and local. Or be it product-specific. The racist trade deficit is purposefully imposed by regulators, legislators, behind a facade of feigned equity, policed by persons employed to maintain the inequitable status quo.
The negative trade deficit that is imposed upon black people is designed, intended to engender: unemployment, underemployment; to depress wages, to blight neighborhood schools; to lower
communities' tax bases, frustrate ambitions; to isolate and exploit vulnerable ones occasioned by its implementation, and incarceration.
There are exceptions. Some get through this maze, its labyrinthine stockades, into which most blacks are herded, branded, sold, or killed.
One way to reduce the trade deficit is by getting an awareness of it. This is done, first, by examining one's own personal spending habits, in view of the trade deficit described above. Next make spending adjustments reflecting an awareness, or by saving money for future expenditures in deference to the awareness, would have a great impact on lowering the racial trade deficit in the short-term. Trade like oxygen, is life to individuals and to communities. Its absence is death.
Each, every person, family, church, sorority, fraternity, business, club , association, organization may perform this quietly, without injury to anyone. You are the boss as you have the money to spend that they want, advertise for; mass-mail for ! Recognize your position and power!
No need to enrich the adversary any more than necessary, whoever, whatever, your adversary may be!
LOVE LIBRARIES, LIBRARIANS
ASK A LIBRARIAN
When in doubt ask a librarian. They are tantalized by curiosity, and are paid to curate, investigate, answer all manner of information or inquiry.
I love libraries and love librarians.
I recall reading in Richard Wright's BLACK BOY about this elaborate scheme he had to employ with unnamed decoys, just to be able to get the needed books out of the segregated Memphis, Tennessee Public Library in the 1930s era. He got them all as needed from there, race segregation notwithstanding!
Knowledge is power! Public libraries are surging power plants .
In June 1963, our family had first moved to Rockhill, Missouri from Kirkwood. As I was the eldest of six children, and responsible for each, I recall lining them all up in single file and walking up Rock Hill Road to the old Rock Hill Library that was then housed in a converted house.
The librarians were helpful and friendly. We each checked out a book--mine was the history of China, too much for me then and now!--and we then returned home, laden with reading materials to divert us and to empower us at home , until Mama and Daddy came home from work. I was 12.
Love librarians and librarians !
PROVE ALL THINGS
PROVE ALL THINGS
In the abstract anything can be, may be, but when merged with reality, anything that is abstract transmutes within defining limits.
Otherwise stated, abstract theory succumbs to what is practicable.
Thus, courage is defined both by the circumstances all around and within its bearer; so too is virtue.
This may be why the Bible says:
"Prove all things; hold fast to that which is good." 1 Thess 5:21

DR. THEOPHILE OBENGA AND ME
DR. THEOPHILE OBENGA AND ME
"We now come to the question: What was the actual attitude to illness to the thinkers of ancient pharaonic Egypt?
"From the view point of Egyptian philosophy, human beings are a combination of material and spiritual forces intimately intertwined . There is the body, 'khet,' with its organs and instincts ; there is the 'ka,' a vital force which gives the body life. Conceived of as a sort of specific, astral double of the individual being, the ka expressed the intimate essence of the ego. There was the 'ba,' a principle of divine origin, represented in figurative art as a bird with a man's head, clutching in its claws the ankh, symbol of life. The 'ba' was placed above the 'khet' and the 'ka.'
"Because they saw the human being as a synthesis of organic, mental, spiritual, and divine energies, the ancient Egyptians in no way interpreted disease as a punishment for sin. To them, illness was not the result of moral and personal disorder; it was a material reflection of a constant, universal struggle between health-giving forces and toxic ones. For the ancient Egyptians, in other words, illness seemed like the expression, on the human level, of a metaphysical drama."
P.394-5, AFRICAN PHILOSOPHY THE PHARAONIC PERIOD 2780-330 BC by Theophile Obenga (2004)
[By extrapolation, my cosmogony would extend the one human being identified by Dr. Theophile Obenga to humanity, at large; such that the "illnesses" of mankind become but byproducts of the very same "metaphysical drama," cosmic struggle between health-giving forces and toxicity on the myriad planes of human endeavor in time.]
SHAKESPEARE, SOCRATES, JESUS
The conclusion that a black woman, Amelia Bassano, of Morocco and Italy and England, was the actual bard "William Shakespeare," in lieu of Christopher Marlowe, or any number of others, is easily eclipsed by similar apostrophes, pertaining to Socrates, being a literary invention of Plato, and Jesus Christ, being utterly devoid of historical existence, but a created figure as well.
Of course, it matters not to many if any of this is true. Some have read the works of "William Shakespeare", delightfully, none the wiser; have read the works of Plato about the death of Socrates, none the wiser; have read the New Testament of Jesus, in bliss.

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY A/K/A, NEE "DECORATIONS DAY"
USCTCELEBRATE THE TRUE DEFENDERS!
Seldom do any conservatives ever bother to celebrate the loyal Union men, who were the TRUE defenders of the United States Constitution, black and white men, slave and free men, when extolling the more prominent slaveholding men, who were among the founders of the Republic, but whose ideological descendants sought to destroy the United States with their Confederate States of America excision. As "Memorial Day," which we celebrate May 29, 2017, as a legal holiday was itself founded by humble South Carolina freedmen to honor the defenders of the Union, the United States of America, it is but meet that we pause to lift up true DEFENDERS!
The "Memorial Day" that we celebrate now was born as, and was originally known as, "Decorations Day." The article linked below explains this bleaching-out process of historical racial emasculation of a black freedom celebration into a generic universal, veterans holiday, without any ostensible Civil War associations, or ties. But, revisionist dissociation must not triumph, yet again, with black history, to appease the lying troubled miens and guilty consciences of the current descendants of the same revisionist, traitorous malefactors who then sought, and who still seek, to destroy our beloved nation, the United States of America.

DEADWOOD DICK
I have just been totally blown away reading THE LIFE AND TIMES OF NAT LOVE by Nat Love (1905).
He recounts an adventure where he was captured by Yellow Dog Indians, in a fierce gun battle in which he was injured; shot through the chest and thigh and who was taken to their camp, treated, healed. He says of these Indians :
"Yellow Dog's tribe was composed largely of half breeds, and there was a large percentage of colored blood in the tribe, and as I was a colored man they wanted to keep me, as they thought I was too good a man to die."
He continues:
"I very soon learned their ways and to understand them, though our conversation was mostly carried on by means of signs. They soon gave me to understand that I was to marry the chief 's daughter , promising me 100 ponies to do so, and she was literally thrown in my arms; as for the lady she seemed perfectly willing if not anxious to become my bride. She was a beautiful woman, or rather girl ; in fact all the squaws of this tribe were good-looking, out of the ordinary, but I had other notions just then and did not want to get married under such circumstances , but for prudence sake I seemed to enter into their plans, but at the same time keeping a sharp lookout for a chance to escape."
Eventually, Nat Love makes good his escape by stealing the fastest pony the Indians possessed and riding it all night, bare back, one hundred miles back to his home range in Texas. He also writes:
"It was a mystery to them how I managed to escape death with such wounds as I had received, the marks of which I will carry to my grave and it is as much a mystery to me as the bullet that struck me in the breast just over the heart passed clear through, coming out my back just below the shoulder. Likewise the bullet of in my leg passed clear through, then through my horse, killing him.
"Those Indians are certainly wonderful doctors, and then I am naturally tough as I carry the marks of fourteen bullet wounds on different parts of my body , most any one of which would be sufficient to kill an ordinary man, but I am not even crippled ...
"They named me the Buffalo Papoose..."

QUANTUM CURIOSITY
It is a CURIOUS conundrum that prescience, or foresight, is also deja vue; that it has already been seen, simultaneously, forward and backward; backward and forward; both quantum .
It is rather like being neither here nor there, yet both here and there at the same time; rather like being more inert energy than definite matter: Mathematically, it is outer surface squared as volumes are cubed with a common radius times pi. Natural philosophy.accommodates the math, physics, nature, cosmos.
IS RUSSIA STILL OUR 'ENEMY'?
Is 1991, when the USSR ceased to be our "enemy?" That year the "Russians," supplanted USSR, when Gorbachev resigned in 1991, and dissolved the USSR as a communist state. If so, and it seems so, since stateless "terrorism" is per Trump the main enemy of NATO and the USA; why were we Americans not informed of the cessation of hostilities between us and them? Why? If Russians are capitalists like us , then, why are back channel communications necessary @ Jared Kushner, Flynn, Trump, and them?

COMMON LAW
Often, in spite of itself, the common law equitably adjudicates, curates, dictates, mediates for all. Naturally, there are notable exceptions to the rule, which, when mestastisized, particularized, and institutionalized, grievously oppress redress.
EULOGY FOR STEPHEN
THIS EULOGY WAS DELIVERED BY OUR BROTHER, REV. EDWIN MARTIN COLEMAN, FOR OUR BROTHER, STEPHEN MESSIAH COLEMAN, ON MAY 7, 2017, ST. LOUIS MISSOURI :
The Eulogy of Stephen Coleman
“Now I See!”
In the 13th Chapter of I Corinthians
The 12th verse we find these words…
For Now…, we see
Through a glass darkly;
But soon we shall see him face to face
For now, we know in part
But soon we shall know even as we are known.
The Message Bible says it this way
12 We do not yet see things clearly, that we need to see.
We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist.
But it won’t be long
Before the weather clears and the sun shines bright again!
We’ll see it all then,
We’ll see it all clearly
Just as God see us!
Pastor Marvin Sapps in one of his songs says it this way
Never could have made it, without you
I would have lost it all
But now I see how you were there for me
So Today I can say
I'm stronger,
I'm wiser
I'm better, so much better
When I look back over all that you brought me through
I can see that You were The one I look up too
So, today I am singing
I never would have made it
No I never, could have made it, without you
I would have lost it all
But “Now I See” how you were there for me
The song Writer said: Now I See! Now I See!
I am the youngest child born to
Elvis Mitchell and Margie Dean Coleman
When I was a child
I was afraid to say my Easter Speech at church
Public Speaking events made me nervous
I would forget Any and Everything I was expected to say
It was then Steve
As he was affectionately called by his brothers and sisters
Became my Sunday School Teacher
He taught me how to read the scriptures
He taught me how to recite what I read, in 30 seconds or less
Now I See, how you were there for me
I never would have made it, without you
➢ When I was in Junior high school
And my other siblings, including Steve
Were Achieving Academic Excellence
Making Straight A’s
Making the Honor Roll
Becoming the Valedictorian of their Class
I was failing history
It was then that Steve became my Academic Tutor
Every Saturday without fail
He would take my sister Pam and I to the movies
Then after the movies, over an Ice Cream Cone
He would sit us both down and quiz us about what we learned from what we saw
Steve quickly discovered that his little sister Pam was very smart
But his younger brother Edwin was a visual learner
Now I See, how you were there for me
➢ When I was freshman in High school
I loved playing sports, basketball and football
But I was slow and weak
It was then that Steve became my Athletic Trainer
Every other morning
He would wake me up
And compel me to follow him to Steger Elementary school
Where we would run 10 one hundred yard sprints
Then we would come home and do
100 push-ups followed by 100 sit-ups
Now I See, how you were there for me
I never would have made it, without you
➢ After graduating from College
I came home and told Steve, I wanted to go to graduate school
It was then that Steve became my Personal banker
Every month without fail, that I remained in Seminary
Steve would send me a $400 dollar check
So, I could focus on my studies, instead of working.
Now I See, how you were there for me
Never would have made it
➢ After Seminary…
I was called to be the student Pastor of a church,
My first church in Parsons, Kansas
It was then Steve became my Career Manager
The Denominational leaders
who were recruiting me
Were, offering me
A parsonage…, with a base salary
To come and serve as their next pastor
But when I came home to show Steve their offer
He noticed that the salary was below the poverty line
He re-worked the numbers for me into a counter offer
Then sent me back to the church board, in Parsons, Kansas
And Told me to tell them
If they would double their numbers
they have a deal
Now I See, how you were there for me
Never would have made it
Never could have made it Steve, without you
When I wanted to learn how to play the trumpet
Steve gave me his trumpet
When I needed a job
Steve introduced me to the Owner and CEO of Edison Brother’s Shoe Company and paid for the lunch
When I needed clothes to start a new career
Steve gave me a pair of his Cohan Loafers and two of his best Evan Picone business suits
Now I See, how you were there for me
Never would have made it
Never could have made it, Steve without you
In our text
The Corinthians were Spiritual Babies
And Like all Spiritual Babies,
Spiritual Babies need guidance and help
They were striving for the temporary and neglecting the eternal
They were holding on to the fleeting Gifts
While letting go of their Christian Character.
And after the Lord revealed to Paul
That these “Spiritual Gifts” would soon pass away
He writes this letter and says
Prophetic Utterances
Will be replaced by the Written Word of God
The Gift of Tongues will cease
And the Gift of healing will no longer be needed
Then Paul confesses these words to The Corinthians
He says…
For now, I know in part
But soon I shall know even as I am known.
I do not yet see things clearly, that I need to see.
I am squinting in a fog, peering through a mist.
But it won’t be long
Before the weather clears and the sun shines bright again!
Then I will see…just as God see me!
In other words
When we lose the one’s we love
Their… Ab-sence may not make much sense
There will be people, places and things associated with our loss that even we who have matriculated and graduated won’t understand
But be not dismayed my brothers and Sisters
Unless we have sorrow upon sorrow
Because In our text
Paul reminds us there is appointed time for God to speak
A time
When every Valley shall be exalted
And every mountain and hill made low
A Time
When the crooked shall be made straight
And the rough places made smooth
Be not dismayed my brothers and sister
There is an appointed time for God to speak
A time when
If we wait on the lord and be of Good Courage
He shall renew our strength, we shall walk and not get weary
We shall run and not faint!!!
Be not dismayed…My brothers and sisters
There is an appointed time for God to speak
And He shall have the final say
When there was a man lame at the pool of Bethesda
It was God who spoke
When they laid the man daily at the Gate Called Beautiful
It was God who spoke
When they lower the man through the roof on a stretcher
It was God who spoke
When He saw the little man sitting in the sycamore tree
It was God who spoke
When he saw the fig trees with no Figs
It was God who spoke
When the men were judging that woman caught in Adultery
It was God who Spoke
When Mary and Martha were mourning their brother’s Lazarus death
It was God who spoke
When Peter got out the boat and started walking on the water
It was God who spoke
When Paul was on the Road to Damascus to persecute the believers
It was God who spoke
When Ananias and Sapphira lied about their Financial Affairs
It was God who Spoke
When the Apostle John was on the Isle of Patmos
It was God who Spoke
When our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ was dying on the Cross
It was God who Spoke
After Mary Magdalene arrived at the Empty tomb
It was God who Spoke, from heaven and said
This is my Son, Whom I love, With him I am well pleased!
Now I see, Now I see (repeat)
Closing Thoughts: Whenever we have an experience
That we did not learn from the Scriptures or from the Lord,
That is the time to “keep silent,” and let God Speak
Now I see…

DO SOMETHING!
SOMETHING MUST BE DONE SOON
Cheating, lying, colluding, hiding, is by no means unique to the young administration of President Donald Trump. If anything , Trump's lies are less suave, less sophisticated, than those of the really smooth scofflaws who have held elective office in the history of United States of America. Of course, only recently has cable, cellphones, or internet, empowered citizens with alternative means of information gathering, collection, comparisons.
Furthermore, hackers have also been of some help, as have leaks, and Wikileaks's, Eric Snowden, and many more. Information is power, hence power restricts information.
Even with the flood of information, it is having little noticeable affect, presently, with respect to solving the problems. This may be due to the layers upon layers of encrusted interlocking-institutional rewards, incentives, penalties, privileges, promotions, of systemic untruths, that have sucked taxpayers' dollars into private pockets for corporate plunder to support the legal system that is unjust, even though it may seem to have morphed, grudgingly, into leniency under prevailing conditions, its historical modus.
Having necessary ingredients are insufficient alone to make a cake . Some bakers with accessories are needed, as well, and hot ovens.
This is the hardest part; the part involving remediation for Donald Trump and others who traverse the public's trust, under cover of law.
It is "hard" since having the will and necessary means of putting it all together with "bakers" in charge of making the "cake," contemplates an institutional aptitude, some mode of organization, plans, allies, finances, personnel, luck, all of which preparations are well above sole conceptional competence, or knowledge. A new political party or its government equivalent may do.
Something must be done soon!

READ MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.'S FIVE BOOKS
http://www.businessinsider.com/trump-pope-francis-gifts-vatican-2017-5
If more disconsolate people would read Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s books, instead of simply imagining that they already know all there is to know about his beliefs and philosophy, then, black leadership would have been, long since, "revisited" with clarity, in totality; as would have been all true leadership, itself, of any color. God used Donald Trump 's ironic, iconic gift to the Pope of Rev. Dr. King's complete literary corpus to say that.
66 IS NOT 16
66 IS NOT 16 !
I am still blessed to do at 66, pretty much, what I was able to do at 26, although my speed has diminished, as has my stamina. But, I am still here. We are still here, alive by the grace of God.
At 26 one learns that 16 is far long-gone, at least I did. As I dribbled my brand-new basketball 🏀 for the very first time on that secluded, public, basketball court in Swope Park, Kansas City, Missouri, one evening, the staccato echoes of its throbbing bounce summoned the younger guns from afar to their asphalt court of battle.
They loped in from every direction , vaporizing like genies from thin air. All were polite, deferential, respectful , at first; speaking softly; rebounding my missed shots, even shagging my long misses. Nice boys were these. Some had even called me "sir" in 1977, to my mild surprise, as I had not yet sensed decrepitude .
But as soon their numbers swelled, so too did their swagering demeanor. It progressed from mild amusement to stiff bemusement; their finger-rolls morphed into jump shots; from rebounding, they went to thunder dunks; from playing with and around me, they began to ball, deftly, among themselves, as I watched. Then, enough of them having come, critical mass having been reached; they said, "Let's run."
I thought that expression meant half-court. But no! They meant full-court! I was in trouble and I knew it!They did too.
Still when they selected two teams, they were obligingly kind enough to select me in my color-coordinated head-band, matching shorts, shirt, and shoes. It was , after all, my ball. I was after all, there first. Though I was unable to touch the rim nor slam, this older man--me-- must've been fun for a minute.
So, we "ran." Rather, they ran! Too many Kool cigarettes, or physical inactivity, both, had ransomed, ransacked, my wind.
Like the wind, they flew literally up and down the outdoor court, back and forth; above the rim, forever above the rim. Slam-dunking, shot-blocking , balling; smack-talking! I enjoyed it. Glad to have briefly had the run.
Soon the sun set, so the game ended.
No less do I now enjoy these fruitful memories, even my retrospective recollections of my transitionings: the the good, the bad, the indifferent; glorious, ignominious, in-between.
Age enables retrospection. Youth does not, cannot. That is age's advantage over youth. This advantage must be assiduously worked, gradually supplemented, graciously shared, and enriched. Then, when you say, "Let's run!" young folks will gawk at you, amazed.
GOD SENDS....
God sends who you need, or what you need, when you need it. Once, when descending a train without a lift, I became stuck on the stairs, unable to descend safely or to re-ascend, either. The female conductor looked despairingly, unable to help me. Then, a bald-headed brother with broad shoulders came along, wearing a sharp sports coat. He looked up at me, stood by me, and said "lean on my shoulder." I did. And safely dismounted the stairs. He was gone, when I turned around to thank him, moving along to parts unknown. Praise God for angels!

TRUMP FOCUS
KUSHNER, FLYNN, MANAFORT ARE ALL TRUMP SURROGATES AND SUBORINATES, AS IS SESSIONS, THE ATTORNEY GENERAL. IN SHORT, THERE IS NO ONE TO PROSECUTE TRUMP. THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT HANDLES FEDERAL PROSECUTIONS. IT ALSO CONTROLS THE FBI, WHOSE F.B.I. DIRECTOR, COMEY, HAD BEEN FIRED WITHOUT ADVERSE INCIDENT. NOR IS THERE ANYONE TO IMPEACH TRUMP IN CONGRESS, THERE BEING TOO FEW VOTES TO IMPEACH OR TO CONVICT, DUE TO BICAMERAL REPUBLICAN POWER IN THE LEGISLATIVE BRANCH AND NOW THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH. ONLY THE JUDICIARY IS FREE. BUT, FOR HOW LONG? ALL SERVANTS, SURROGATES, AND SUBORDINATES SERVE , CARRY OUT, DUTIFULLY, HE WILL OF THEIR MASTERS., OR THEY GET FIRED! IN SHORT, DONALD TRUMP IS THE FOCUS UNDER AGENCY PRINCIPLES, LOGICAL PRINCIPLES, LEGAL PRINCIPLES, ETHICAL PRINCIPLES. JUST HIM.

USE YOUR TALENTS
USE YOUR TALENTS!
Conceiving some idea, then, also congealing a definite means of its execution, concomitantly, is a gift substantially similar to the capacity for intuiting, then, abruptly doing whatever intuition has bequeathed.
Such a gift is present in humanity. We are blessed with all the tools that are needed to carry this off!
I have been aware of this capacity in myself since high school at least, but I suppressed, repressed it, at times, to the point approaching its atrophy, its desiccation from its neglect , disuse , mismanagement.
Nature recycles its natural bounty, continuously as does God the glory as bestowed upon man! Bury your talent or talents at your own peril!
66 IS NOT 16....
66 IS NOT 16 !

NATURAL PHILOSOPHY
ONESELF
ONESELF
Each life rotates on its own axis in time and space; revolving while life rotates on grander planes around a beacon of light. The appreciation of one's axis is axiomatic of a greater understanding of oneself to all else within one's rotation and revolution.
It all begins and ends with oneself.

Doom-da-doom-da-doom. Doom. Duh-dup. Doom-da-doom-da-doom. Duh-
Doom. Boop pah doo-dup!
Sensate sound. Slipping, slithering, sliding: silently, by osmosis, into my soul.
On a faint fetal frequency both heard and felt.
“So what?” Asks Miles. “So what?” Asks Trane.
One trump. One sax. One oscillation.
Vibrating against the backdrop of an inert microwave cosmology. Jam. Jah-Jam.
Jam. Jah-Jam. Jam. Jah-Jam. Beep-Bop.
Horn blowers are heralds, you know. Blow, blow, blow. Blow by blow!
A searing sound of the trumpet. Roiling rhythms from a ram’s horn.
Mending, restoring, reviving. Healing. It’s medicinal.
Parallel scales and alternative octaves from somewhere beyond, heralding and
harkening a new day, a new relationship, a new syncretism. Work.
Transformative wails . Duh-dup. Duh-dup. Faith comes by hearing, by
hearing, by hearing. Ushers all. Ushers, y’all.
Ushering modalities never heard, possibilities never felt. Exemplifying
infinity’s accessibility. Cool. Quintessentially cool. Insouciant. Near absolute
zero in deep space orbiting redolent substrates of consciousness. Lord help!
Duh-dup. Duh-dup. Down easy. Off key, but in key. Off tune, but in tune.
Off scale, but in scale. Yet, always on time. Duh-dup. Duh-dup.
Discordant yet harmonic. Passing the baton. Trump t o Sax. Sax to Trump.
And back again. Conjuring. And driving rhythms, like driving rains, cleaning.
Chump-to-chump.
Lessons. Lessons learned long after the teacher is gone. Duh-Dup. Duh-Dup.
Duh-Dup. Holler if you hear me!
A legacy of love for us to untangle, decipher, interpret and share, when we
become. When we graduate. Crystallize. Incipience made perfect.
Doom-da-doom-da-doom. Doom. Duh-dup. Doom-da-doom-da-doom. Duh-
Doom. Duh-Doom-doom-doom!

AMELIA BASSANO A/K/A "WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE"
Methinks that SNOPES doth protest too much. "Moor" or "Moroccan/Jewish" was likely this beautiful brown colored woman in 1600s. They were in the late 1700s when the USA signed its treaty with it to end "white slavery!" So thus depicted, I would say the image is consistent with the color attributed to the Moors by Mark Twain, when he visited that country in his book, THE INNOCENTS ABROAD in the 1800s. So, that is Amelia Bassano! Hooray! No wonder I loved Shakespeare's rhetorical rhythms! Snopes argues way too long, and unpersuasively for me!

HERE TOO IS THE EPIC POEM BY AMELIA BASSANO WHICH TEXTUALLY EVOKES THE GREAT BARD, WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE.

FINALLY BELOW IS THE SNOPES LINK WHICH DOUBTS THAT AMELIA BASSANO IS A BLACK WOMAN AND IS SHAKESPEARE, TOO!

SUNKEN TREASURES
SUNKEN TREASURES
Going down with the truth is more noble than going down with a ship, to parody Captain John Paul Jones, 'even if it is at the risk of drowning,' as was said by Victor Bryant, Esq., of New York City, a 1976 classmate at Howard University Law School .
Mobility has virtue as does nobility. A sunken ship is lost, but not the truth. Truth is resurgent, no matter how long it may have been buried.
The very rocks will cry out! Even the sea will disgorge rich cargoes, laden with ancient encrusted coin of the realm, whose speciation has value, authentic value as the truth.

SNIDE AND SMUG
SNIDE AND SMUG MANKIND
Saying "Let God have His way," snidely presumes that it could be, possibly, any other kind of way.
That cosmogony, creed, belief, "angschuung" smugly suggests that unlike the sun, moon, stars, earth, galaxy, universe itself, and all their contents, which all in-errantly obey God's will, that only we, only tiny mankind can contravene God's will, can go against God's way.
Please! If you believe that--very well--then, "have it your way !"

CHOOSING YOUR BATTLES
CHOOSING YOUR BATTLES
Lessons are to be learned reading history, nature, and from scripture.
In reading about the little-known slave revolt of 1811 in Louisiana, along the Mississippi River's rich German Coast, north of New Orleans, led by Charles Deslondes, I read that the 200 slaves, though armed with muskets, were cut down in open fields in piles of corpses, when they were surprised by a flanking maneuver by planters.
Being armed is one thing; being accurate is quite another. Planters practiced and were well practiced in the discharge of firearms and in open mounted battle array under coordinated military leadership. Slaves obviously were not in either!
Choosing one's ground to do battle is an important part of preparation for battle; choosing the place of battle may be the most important part of preparations. That means intelligence gathering is another important thing to have in advance.
The battleground might be on water instead of land or on both; it might be in a house, a school or a church. War is more than a battle.
David rejected the weapons of Saul in favor of those that he knew, and ones he had practiced, and he had proven by killing a bear and a lion.
There is a lesson in here to discern. It may be decided that it is better to forego battle altogether, in favor of more profitable means of redress, like massive nonviolent protests led by lawyers, minister-philosophers .
NED BLAKELY by Mark Twain
PUSHING PULLING
FROM PUSHING TO PULLING
I am as bad as those whom I have in the past condemned as being woefully unreasonable about race.
My focus has been on getting black people reading, learning, working zealously to improve themselves, by perfecting themselves, to the point that no ignorant wickedness finds a sanctuary in which to hide, breed, or despoil our progress.
Those people whom I have unfairly criticized are those who tend to blame black people primarily and uncritically for not turning out to vote in sufficiently large numbers to defeat the racist politicians, who too often win elections in America.
Assessing it, now, both approaches are lacking in the same material respect. That is natural resistance from the black and from the white.
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction . True in physics, true in natural philosophy.
Push generates push back, in other words. Better to 'pull' than to push. To pull is to attract, to magnetize.
To pull is to induce, to draw unto , i.e. , " And if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto me."
Not sure pulling will fare any better than pushing, but it could hardly do any worse, to gauge from results!

DADDY WAS "LIBERAL"
DADDY WAS "LIBERAL"
Daddy once said of another congregation that was visiting our church, following that afternoon's collection, just before adjourning, whose members had come from far away in southern Missouri to visit our own modest church, St. Matthews CME, in Meacham Park, Missouri, the following:
"We sincerely want to thank all of the members of ____church, who have come so far and who have given so liberal."
The visiting church was offended, because they thought Daddy had said "little," instead of "liberal."
Now, true enough, Daddy should have said "liberally," its adverbial usage, to be more grammatically correct. But, Daddy was Daddy and Daddy being Daddy, what was done was done, in love, even if it was temporarily misunderstood!
This humorous family memory was called to mind as I read Aristotle's "Nicomachean Ethics," to wit:
"Let us speak next of liberality. It seems to be the mean with regard to wealth; for the liberal man is praised not in respect of military matters, nor in respect of those of which the temperate man is praised, nor of judicial decisions , but with regard to the giving and taking of wealth, especially in respect of giving."
P. 984, THE BASIC WORKS OF ARISTOTLE (1941, 2001)
I seriously doubt that our Daddy had ever read any part of Aristotle , or even if he understood "liberality." But his heart was in the right place.
PURSUE PERFECTION
PURSUE PERFECTION
"Be you therefore perfect even as your father in heaven is perfect. "
Mt 5:48
An ideal life involves human feeling, knowing, pursuing perfection; not as an abstraction, or as distraction, but unto complete self-satisfaction.
Neither is pursuit of perfection a lonely life. Instead, it contemplates a patterned pursuit by at least "two or three" people in its attainment.
Scripture says, "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth, touching anything they shall ask, it shall do it for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Mt 18:19-20
Thus, when you are ever again asked by anyone what they can do about this or that, reply in accord with scripture; tell them to work with other people in Jesus' name in obedience to divine admonition :
PURSUE PERFECTION !
I certainly will do so in Jesus' name.

OCEANIC FAITH
"I beg to add , too, that I could not anticipate how much my faith would be strengthened, by trusting in God amid the exposures of a voyage. Faith grew stronger by its exercise . For nine consecutive nights I had laid my head upon my pillow at sea. In the midst of the vast deep, where our great vessel and all it contained might, like the 'President,' go to the bottom in an hour, leaving none to tell the story of our fate, and no traces even of the whereabouts of our destruction--to trust God in these circumstances--to hear the rolling heaving ocean, at deep dark midnight , and still to trust him --to listen to the hurried commands, and the rattling of ropes and sails , and the hundred and one accompaniments of a storm, and still to trust him--give faith a strength peculiar only to its trial and dangers. I could not help writing to Mrs. Ward, that, having long before learned to trust our Heavenly Father as God of the land, I had learned to rely upon him as God of the ocean. I know not how far this accords with the experience of other passengers, and have no means of knowing whether the same feeling will continue with myself; but I do know that it, at present, is far from being one of the least striking or the least pleasing incidents of my first voyage."
P. 168, "Great Britain," AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A FUGITIVE SLAVE by Samuel Ringgold Ward (1855, 1970)

STRENGTH AND ATROPHY
STRENGTH AND ATROPHY
Faith in God is strengthened by its exercise, even as it atrophies when it is not not exercised. To the same extent as their faith, do a person's mind and body. Vigorously exercise all three: faith, mind, and body in Jesus' name and be thereby thrice blessed, and not thrice atrophied!
YOU AS BEGINNING
Since it is a fact that a truly aligned accurate, cubed-solid foundation is the base plate, starting point for all later measurements, constructions, calibration, no better place to begin is with oneself, as that prime place.
Getting to your place within is the next step, best step outside in life.
There are so many dense layers of incrementally accumulated stuff encrusting us as people, as unique individuals, as God divine creatures, that we seem to have difficulty sensing, feeling, sorting out, assuming, our own true selves for who we are. We seemingly "do not know our own innate strength."
KNOW THYSELF was the legend that was engraved above the stone doorways of many ancient temples. This admonition directed our paths to truth, the true way to knowledge.
For without knowledge of oneself, one can know nothing else, as all else derives from this solid base of fact, first knowledge, and first love .
Getting to one's self-knowledge, to one's primal place, its truth, are the end, objective of human existence.
You and I are unique to this time, to this space, and to no other one. For some certain, particular, purpose were we are called forth into being.
Of course, all dogs won't hunt; nor all seeds won't ripen, nor bear fruit. These facts are patent parts of life's differential equation. Their variations have already been factored in, before life even began.
Still, notwithstanding whatever, it is the duty of those who know, to do what they know, about conditions that they face, with the tools that they have, with others so disposed.
Amen 🙏.
POUND CAKE GEOMETRY

GEOMETRY IS MUCH BROADER THAN MERE MATHEMATICS
"Parts have the same ratios as their equimultiples," means that one slice of pound cake consists of like ratios of its constituent ingredients in any number of other slices or in the whole itself .
This is derived from EUCLID'S Elements, book 5, proposition 23

PROOF AND UTTERANCE
MUST BE ONESELF REGARDLESS
MUST BE ONESELF REGARDLESS
We are who we are and what we are, regardless. In spite of advice, warnings, testimony by others , we must be who we are. We must do as we understand to do regardless.
In 1986, at my first National Bar Association convention in Denver, Colorado, my curiosity engaged a number of attorneys in a question that was most dear to my future law practice as a sole practitioner:
"How do you charge and how much can you charge a particular client to be able to sustain your business and your interest, without running them away to other competitors?"
The NBA convention handbook did not deal with this seminal subject, though, I had thought that it might; a major reason for my attendance.
Undaunted, with typical aplomb, I approached a group of lawyers who were socializing gregariously in the lobby with my basic inquiry.
To my utter and complete surprise it touched off a gaggle of debate among the seasoned professionals. It seemed that there was no best or one way to charge for our services.
But the question was a good one, affecting as it did everyone in the myriad practice configurations. The entire hotel lobby was momentarily overwhelmed by my inquiry about charging. The sheer breadth of the question was daunting, given the variety of factors to be considered!
Who but an inexperienced wag (youngster) would dare to ask it? Yet, its sheer breadth has brought forth a ferment of good ideas, great testimony, smart methods, and warnings aplenty, I was happy. These lawyers were helpful to me!
How-to practice law books by such authors, as Jay Foonberg or Singer, about: "How to go into private practice without missing a meal," etc., do not begin to contemplate the true nature black solo practitioner experience in Kansas City, Missouri, nor could they.
Neither could they be me nor do me; therefore, neither could they really advise me: though, I had read them both to prepare myself.
In truth and fairness to the authors, or to anyone else, neither could help me. Nor could anyone else truly advise me. "I must walk this lonesome valley for myself." I must see life through my own frame of reference, following my own vision.
I must be me and do me, as you must be and do you, regardless !

DISORDER
INTELLIGENCE DEFICIT DISORDER
President Donald Trump is not merely at war with our nation's 17 -odd intelligence agencies, from whom he receives daily briefings; but, he would seem to be also at war with his own personal 70-odd years' intelligence, which may be far worse for the American people, and for himself, given the breadth of knowledge required to govern, prudently, effectively, successfully.

INTERDICTING INTUITION
Interdicting flowing intuition with intellect obstructs intercession, the blessed accession of divine ideas. In other words, human Intuition flows freely as a divine gift. Our officious intermeddling with this flood, which is our natural aboriginal source as well, obstructs, blocks, diminishes, distorts, denies, our conceptions, our perceptions, and our applications, of these beneficences.
I analogize it to the blocking, damming of the ancient Nile River.
