TRANSFORMERS OVERCOME Under enough pressure, matter transforms; elements transform. Imagine, then, what such pressure does to humans, has done to black men and black women, historically. Such perversely intense pressures that were caused by Christian and Islamic enslavements, colonization, or exploitation of Africans forward, from the 15th and/or 9th centuries, respectively, explain many African descendants' current status, due to transformations in part or wholly. Even so, many such persons of African descent have overcome such transformative traumas. They have done so, assiduously, by grace, everyday, everywhere in part or wholly. Yet many others have not fully regained their true, noble integrity as children of God. For those who yet labor, who but see their way darkly, in a gloom of despair: hope, love, faith abound. They abound for them and for us all of African descent, wherever we may now be situated or ensconced. As our scattering was, so too our gathering is, the foreordained will of God. We have seeded, fertilized the earth with blood, sweat, tears, ingenuity. Now, our harvest awaits. Praise God for God and Divine love!

OTHER SHEEP.....

"I HAVE OTHER SHEEP 🐑 " Is not a hypothetical "either-or" dichotomy that is commonly framed in logic, rhetoric, religion, or other fields, not just another deceptive and fallacious postulate? Stating the above query differently, are the exclusive, the only options that are available to choose from , merely those reducible to any two antithetical, opposites in nature? In short, do not other vibes rive, do not other forces flow, discordantly, differentially, idiopathically, that is, by "chance?" Are these others not also present, not also active, not also prevalent, as are opposites? Surely, they are. They must be! What, after all, is "PI" or "PHI," in nature, in mathematics, in space? Jesus said "I have other sheep not of this fold. That is because such fallacious postulates frame the liberty of imagination, of possibility, while appearing to present a choice. There are forces, vibrations, that are as accessible in other folds.

SHELF LIFE

TRUTH'S SHORT SHELF-LIFE Since when have facts or the truth really mattered in American life? Those few of us who have favored or who have promoted the truth, facts, justice, have been the most prosecuted, the most persecuted, for expressing, for proclaiming, such unAmerican, even foreign ideas. Ours often has been the same fate as "Socrates," Plato's apostrophic alter-ego, poisoned sage of Ancient Greece ! Whenever, however, facts, truth, or justice have come back into vogue, into fashion, I certainly welcome its remarkable presence! Its shelf-life is seasonal and notoriously short!

ETHIOPIA AND THE ORIGIN

Last night, I finished my delightful re-reading of "Ethiopia and the Origin of Civilization," by John G. Jackson, in whose book, INTRODUCTION TO AFRICAN CIVILIZATIONS, I had earlier read this very same thing, back in the 1970s or '80s, it seems. As a tribute to my great friend and mentor, Dr. Jackson, and as a gift to you, Dear Reader, I quote, viz.: "Egypt and Western Asia tell us the same story. 'In each case we have a standard or measuring-rod of authentic historical record,' declares Samuel Laing, 'of certainly not less 8,000, and more probably 9,000 or 10,000 years from the present time; and in each case we find ourselves at this remote date, in the presence of, not rude beginnings, but of a civilization already ancient and far advanced . We have populous cities and celebrated temples, an organized priesthood, an advanced state of agriculture and of the industrial and fine arts; writing and books so long known that their origin is lost in myth; religions in which advanced philosophical and moral ideas are already developed; astronomical systems which imply a long course of accurate observations. How long this prehistoric age may have lasted, and how many centuries it may have taken to develop such a civilization from the primitive beginnings of Neolithic and Paleolithic origins, is a matter of conjecture. All we can infer is, it must have required an immense time, much longer than that embraced by the subsequent period of historical record.' "WE"

"WE" Whosoever that "WE" were in the "Declaration of Independence," who said: "WE hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, and that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights," .... Who are that we? That aggregate "we." Whoever that "we" are, was, or may be, their "we," that "we," was not me. Neither was that or their we my folks, my people of African descent in the old British colonies that would later after 2 wars, become, because of thousands of mistaken "we's," the United States of America. That much is certain! What a terrible travesty, what heresy, apostasy, to put to the lie, to make a lie out of, "these truths," those that were so broadly proclaimed to be "self-evident truths" about "certain unalienable rights endowed by God?" Lies about rights. Man. And God! Who is this WE who profligately lies on all?

LIMITLESSNESS

WE ONLY LIVE IN THE PRESENT, NEVER IN THE FUTURE, NOR IN THE PAST. BUT THE "PRESENT" THAT WE MOMENTARILY EXPERIENCE, IS SO FLEETING, THAT ONE MIGHT REASONABLY WONDER, DO WE REALLY "LIVE" IN THE PRESENT, OR LIVE AT ALL? MARVELOUS IS OUR EXISTENCE, IS ITS UNENDING ILLUSIONS. OF COURSE, WE LIVE! OF COURSE, WE EXIST! IT IS FOLLY TO THINK, TO IMAGINE, TO SUGGEST, OR, MUCH LESS TO WRITE, OTHERWISE!
