It is shameful and sinful that those few of us who acclaim ancient Egyptians and ancient Nubians, disdain enslaved Alabamans and Virginians, their most direct forbears. Similarly, the slaves' societies are acclaimed by others of us, but they deem ancient Egyptians and Nubians to be wicked, because they were taught so by distorted teaching. Most shameful and sinful is that so very few know much about any of these black Americans' ancestors! Until we know truth, we cannot be free
