COMMA COLLOQUIUM In 5th grade, Ms. Brooks asked me why I had placed a comma where I did in a sentence? I told her that it sounded right, felt right. She said that I still needed to know the rule , the reason, for things, commas or whatever, apart from my feelings. That has always stayed with me, her lesson, our comma colloquium .
