America's unpaid "debt" to Haiti's slaves and to its own!

Translation: Haiti's black slaves' victory over Napoleon Bonaparte's 30,000 best troops in 1803, compelled Napoleon to sell the rest of the Louisiana Territory on the mainland of North America for 3 cents per acre, so devastated was he by this loss of France's richest colony!

Therefore, the United States of America is greatly indebted to Haiti's former slaves, even as it is to its own former slaves, whose military valor, as relates to Haiti, enabled the United States of America to "acquire" France's former territory; and, second, enabled it to preserve the United States of America, consequent to the Civil War of 1861-1865 fought over the issue of slavery!
