HOLY SPIRIT OMITTED?
HOW CAN THE SPIRIT BE OMITTED?
I often read of intellectual, political, economic, social, legal challenges that are perennially confronting most black people in America and beyond. Very seldom, however, are the spiritual challenges mentioned.
This may be because most writers are jaundiced about spiritual topics.
But, I say that the spirit of man is what makes man, man! The Spirit of inquiry, the spirit of curiosity, the spirit of love, the spirit of invention; the spirits: of work, adventure, war, investigation, creation, or adulation.
Spirit is the divine dimension where power, ideas , ideals, ethics, repose within the infinite mystery, majesty, magnificence, glory, of eternal God.
Awe of "God" as exemplified in nature and in mankind is the true essence of human wonder; upon it earlier man must have meditated, cogitated, associated, one thing to another and all to themselves, as parts of a seamless pattern of love.
I definitely cannot understand how the spiritual dimension can be removed from any aspect of mankind's life!
