INSIGHTS FROM ORIGEN
INSIGHTS FROM ORIGEN
As I read in the book written by iconic, 3rd-Century AD, African philosopher, who was the first Christian theologian, Origen, author of the Christian classic ON FIRST PRINCIPLES (2013), which was only recently translated into English, I have come to perceive, to appreciate, more fully, the common Spiritual linkages connecting the devolution of knowledge pertaining to man, his law, history, Scriptures.
Law is aimed to improve mankind .
History records the deeds of man.
Scriptures connect the foregoing to God: man, law, history, in mystery.
Sapient inquiry would encompass all of these to perfect mankind to accord, to harmonize, with nature. "Nature" is the outermost husk of God's existence, God's evidences.
