40 YEARS IN KCMO FOR ME
In September 1976, I removed my first wife to Kansas City, Missouri, from Washington, D.C., where we had lived, as man and wife, since August 1974, after our wedding in St. Louis. Why Kansas City rather than St. Louis or remaining in D.C.?
My friends were here from high school; my best friend at Howard was raised here and had a job here; I was just down the road from St. Louis, albeit 250 miles by car, and my wife graduated from UMKC. So, all seemed right. Of course, all that glitters ain't gold, I quickly learned!
Be that as it may. I am still here!
I give God the glory the praise and the credit for all that has come my way, by virtue of grace & mercy!
