ROBERT BROWN ELLIOTT
Robert Brown Elliott, Esq., who was born in Liverpool , England migrated to America in 1867, after the Civil War, after attending law school in England. Robert Elliott Brown was one of our greatest politicians ever .
He wrote the great Civil Rights Act of 1875 that the United States Supreme Court overturned in 1883’s regressive “Civil Rights Cases” decision that legally legitimated racial segregation in public transportation, accommodations, theaters, long before Plessy v. Ferguson in 1896. Robert Brown Elliott, Esq., was also a sponsor of the Klu Klux Klan Act of 1871.
