IMPEACHMENT POST-MORTEM
IMPEACHMENT POST-MORTEM
The phantasmagoria of the “Wizard of Oz” was on display in the failed impeachment attempt of President Donald John Trump, the wizard of the GOP; Dorothy , Nancy Pelosi ; tin man, Adam Schiff; lion, Jerry Nadler. Along the way, myriad other semblances, resemblances filled-in.
The weight of it all, the specter of Presidential impeachment had an adverse impact on Elijah Cummings of Baltimore, Maryland, the sainted “good witch” on whom Dorothy and cast landed, adventitiously in 2019.
In this crossing of swords, again the wizard has won the battle on the yellow brick road of leading to his redoubt , bivouac , magic house.
Yet, there is always November 2020. Always November, 2020.
November was what impeachment was all about anyway; no matter what anyone may say. They are going to fight, again, for real this time: “exposed” as frauds, fakirs, liars, their lurid masks of fairness, justice, now rudely shorn away, before the eyes of the world 51-49.
