BRER RABBIT
"Brer Rabbit and Brer Fox's" true emotive power is laced the fable's veiled allegorical references to ancient African "refuge", eons before slavery, or to "maroon" communities where/when we ruled freely; autochthonous African origins!
Allegorically, metaphorically, the Aesopian "aphorism talks in tongues," speaks subliminally to discreet hearers; directly to those of us with open ears to hear divine truth and with hearts and minds to act upon its communication.
