HEMP/MARIJUANA IS ANCIENT ETHOS
Hemp/marijuana's gestault criminalization in the 1930's was done to undermine politically, culturally, the spread of the convivial spirit induced by African American jazz artists and musicians to white folks. "Whites" had become enamored of the ethos, and much less virulently prejudiced and racist if and when they ingested it . It was the first drug war. But was rather silly. Hemp is painted on the walls of ancient Egyptian tombs and pyramids . York, the black servant of Lewis and Clark's Journals is noted as retrieving it from an island in the Missouri River with other greens, swimming out to collect it!
