RAISING "PERFECT" CHILDREN
RAISING "PERFECT" CHILDREN
Children are divine blessings, not curses, as now deemed by many modern people to be. They were, and they are foremost among the legendary riches of prophet Job: "a perfect and upright man who feared God and eschewed evil." Before his cattle on a thousand hills are Job's gems. Children are gems!
Job had seven sons and had three daughters. Job 1:1-2. Also in the Old Testament, there is Israel, nee Jacob, whose twelve sons' deeds and descendants form the crucial vertebrae of Christian and Jewish religion. "Be fruitful and multiply " Genesis 1:28 proclaims . "You shall know the tree by its fruit" Luke 6:43-45, says New Testament of children and how they are raised.
What you put into children is what you get out of them as well. Not just materially, but spirituality, genealogically. "Garbage in , garbage out" is as much human being code as it is a cyber code. In their young years they are wholly dependent upon you. In your late years, you wholly depend on them.
Not only is the abuse or neglect of children, your own , or another's, ungodly , ungrateful, unnatural, and unnecessary, it is also quite insane!
But insanity is the order of the day from our American presidency on down to helpless children. No greater love has any man than the love of himself . Children are part of yourself . All Children are made, modeled, fashioned, equipped , vivified, fortified , raised up, as God's offspring, through us, you, by the same divine, connubial, conjugal, mystery, that produced you and your spouse, both blessed.
Would a man rob God? Man robs God whenever man does less than their best in child-bearing/raising.
All that any perfect and upright man can do is his best. Doing less than his best brings imperfection. Be perfect and upright in raising your children to be their very best! Then they attain their perfection!
Amen
