FEELING COMES FIRST
FEELING COMES FIRST
When all add-ons are wiped away, what remains is essence: The life before reading, writing, arithmetic . life before crying, walking or talking. Feeling.
Quintessential life. Basic life. Life that lingers in the fibers of being.
Feeling is the earliest fiber of life, of being. Sooner than sight, hearing, smelling , tasting, intuiting: feeling.
Feeling rhythmic pulses. Feeling heartbeats . Feeling movements.
Hurting one's feelings is hurting the essential core of one's being.
Feeling cold? Feeling hot? Feeling hungry, thirsty, happy, angry? How are you feeling today, right now?
Aristotle writes in "Metaphysica" that sight comes first. I beg to differ with this icon, respectfully. I say that sight follows feeling as does all the rest, Feeling is the first fiber of being internal, external.
