HAPPY HALLOWEEN
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
From my point of view as a child, Halloween was a lot of great fun!
Candy made it even sweeter. The more candies, the more sweeter! especially those tiny candy bars, and chocolate kisses , all better!
It was also adventurous! We went out at night in groups, families and/or friends, variously costumed: "trick or treating" over entire blocks of homes, in St. Louis County, Missouri, in the late 1950s to the early 1960s. In the period of which I speak, there were no poisoning, no criminal acts, no kidnaps, in our area. These things were not near us; but in the newspapers or on tv.
All we had was fun . Just fun !
HAPPY HALLOWEEN !
