CREDULOUS ETHIOPIANS
STILL CREDULOUS ETHIOPIANS?
It may be worth remembering that the black people taken from Africa did not conceive of themselves as being "black," but as belonging to discrete "tribes," who were distinct from each other, in this later era.
Europeans, however, and Arabs before them, did conceive of the Africans as "black," and enslaved them, opportunistically, on these two main bases: their aboriginal blackness and their after-acquired accreted credulity.
"Credulity" is vulnerability. What one does not know can be fatal to oneself and one's family's wellness, wealth and freedom of mobility.
To be "credulous" is to be "naive, gullible, unsuspecting, unwary, impressionable, unquestioning ."
Credulity is a very crafty way to say dumb, stupid, ignorant, credulous.
That most blacks once were credulous is clear from our present position in the world, at the bottom of societies in Africa, Europe, America, Asia, Australia, and elsewhere.
But, that blacks are not inherently such, nor always such, is as evident from studying ancient civilizations, in depth. These were those that black people founded to celebrate themselves, their gods , and to teach later generations of such by their universal sciences: mathematics, astronomy, writing, philosophy, surveying, navigation.
By studying one may learn that rather being at the bottom, blacks were at the top, of world society as recently as 750 years before the imputed birth dates later ascribed to Jesus Christ; by those who first came to learn from the blacks, who were succored by the blacks, who then invaded, and have assumed the identities of the blacks in much.
Thus, the Greek Homer's "innocent Ethiopians," as our forebears were once known, were indirectly being termed the "credulous Ethiopians," it now seems in retrospect in 2017.
Would that such woeful "black" credulousness would end soon for "credulous Ethiopians" worldwide, so as to resume self-knowledge, to reassume power, wealth, and self-respect, to the glory of God above!
