CHANCE DETERMINISM AND KC ROYALS
CHANCE, DETERMINISM AND KANSAS CITY ROYALS
Monday, July 17, 2017
By Rev. Dr. Larry Delano Coleman
IT MAY BE THAT CHANCE IS A DIVINE CONSORT OF DETERMINISM OR A MEMBER OF THE HAREM.
AFTER MY HOMETOWN KANSAS CITY ROYAL’S BOTTOMOF THE 9TH-INNING WIN OVER THE TEXAS RANGERS, YESTERDAY, JULY 16, 2017, WHEN THE FIERY BRIGHT SUN OBSCURED TEXAS’ RIGHT FIELDER’S VIEW OF, ABILITY TO CATCH, THE BALL, THAT BLINDLY DROPPED OFF THE TIP OF HIS GLOVE, I AM NOW MORE CONVINCED THAN EVER BEFORE THAT CHANCE IS AS ACTIVE A FORCE IN LIFE, AS DETERMINISM.
NOW, TO WHAT DEGREE CHANCE FACTORS IN LIFE, RELATIVE TO DETERMINISM , WHETHER AS 1/64, AS THE ANCIENT EGYPTIAN SAGES CLAIMED AND DEPICTED IN THE ‘EYE OF HORUS,’ I DO NOT KNOW. I DO KNOW THE ROYALS WON! THEIR RECENT LOSING STREAK ENDED AT 5 GAMES, TO TEXAS AT 12 GAMES.
INSIGHTS COME TO US IN MANY WAYS, ON DIFFERENT DAYS, IF WE PEER INTO OUTER APPEARANCES.
