POWERS ABOVE HUMAN HISTORY
POWERS ABOVE HUMAN HISTORY
Human history is natural history.
It flows like the tides, which ebb and flow by reason of prevailing forces upon us. We like to believe, to say, even vehemently contend, that we play a part in these rains, hurricanes, snow, blizzard, sirocco, earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, eruptions, pestilence or droughts that assail, bless, buffet the earth.
In truth, we are as natural to this biome in space and time as these.
So too is our history and our future. Regardless to whether we deem it expedient or prudent for us to pray, to inveigh, protest, legislate to the contrary, what will be will be, just as surely as, if we will be or not be.
We are naturally blessed, like the rest, of earth of all that may fall or may befall us from powers beyond.
