EAT, DRINK,BE MERRY
"Eat drink and be merry," was once criticized as being unchristian by someone, whom I do not recall . The saying which is attributed to a Greek named Epicurus is doubtless much more ancient; is in the Bible.

People will have you condemning anything unless it benefits them.
I was told to preach about tithing, when I was sent to my first church, by my superior officer. Of course, tithing supports the church, so I could readily understand his latent rationale for so advising me.
Still, I persist in the conviction that eating drinking and being merry is far better than any of its opposites!
