When asking about inequalities in life, one might also ask, why are some rocks mountains, while others are mere stones; or why some plants are trees and others are grass; or why some water is salty and other water is fresh, unless polluted. May it be that Karma subsumes a greater mystery than mere causality that we can see or understand?
