DILUTED AND POLLUTED MAN?
DILUTED AND POLLUTED MAN?
"Dilution" is the watering down, the thinning out, the degradation of the original.
Dilution can occur, indeed it has occurred, chemically, culturally, environmentally, and in other ways.
In terms of man, it is, at least, debatable whether the present devolution of man is a diluted version of the original man?
Imagine meeting nature in the raw, surviving, propagating; teaching; and figuring out what is good to eat and drink; how to speak and to write; how to compute and to build, "and on and on until the break of dawn," should give us modern humans pause in our presumptive superiority over our predecessors.
We may also be diluted not merely polluted in our mettle, values, virtues! We may be placed in this context purposefully to flourish in this unique niche in space-time .
But, praise be to God, we are still here even if diluted and polluted!
