FACIALLY NEUTRAL NEUTERING
FACIALLY NEUTRAL NEUTERING
Often excessive government regulation is thought of as a rich Republican issue, rather than a black empowerment issue.
In truth, excessive, needless, directed, and often racist, government regulations on the federal, state and local levels have materially hampered the growth and development of black businesses, historically .
Lacking political clout, and/or the money to procure it as well, black interests have been routinely legislated, regulated, or prosecuted out of existence, to benefit more favored white competitors of these concerns.
Facially neutral neutering has eviscerated a vast variety of black concerns as they lacked the knowledge to appreciate the encroaching evil or the requisite wherewithal to withstand its advance or escape its clutches!
Everything from trash hauling, to secret society fraternal insurance, dry cleaning, securities, clothes washing, bricklaying , food catering, banking, healing, numbers lottery, education -- name it! --has adversely been affected by government regulation . This accounts for massive unemployment in black communities due to lack of jobs.
This factually traumatic, historic phenomenon was brought to mind once again, when reading:
"Meanwhile, Virginia had created an Insurance Commissioner , and it was obvious that regulation of insurance companies, including fraternals, would come to Virginia as it had come to other states. Secret societies viewed the possible intrusion into their affairs by a powerful white official with alarm."
