DON'T MESS WITH GOD'S FOLKS
DON’T MESS WITH GOD’S FOLKS
Thursday, June 25, 2015
By Rev. Dr. Larry Delano Coleman
Just who do you think you are, Dylann Storm Roof ?
Think you can just walk up in here, in this house; kill the Lord’s folks? And hide?
What kind of fool are you ? Have you not heard the 105th Psalm say,
“Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”
Don’t you know not to mess with God’s folks?
Are you crazy, too, white boy? Or, just demon-possessed?
You knew of historic “Mother Emanuel” African Methodist Episcopal Church.
You drove there expressly, to Charleston, South Carolina, from 100 miles away.
To kill and destroy nine of God’s good folks; who welcomed you, you killed.
Don’t you know not to mess with God’s folks?
You heard them pray; saw them study. Them you shot and killed. Then “fled.”
Where to? “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.” Where to?
Outside Shelby, North Carolina, you were spotted by a Christian minister.
She called the police, followed you. They busted you the morning after.
What “race war,” Dylann Roof? Didn’t out-race God, did you?
Down you come with those racist battle-flags, too….down. down. down.
Dilapidated storm roof molts down to dirt! Don’t mess with God’s folks!
