WORDS AND GROANINGS
WORDS AND GROANINGS
Not only do words matter, but words, most assuredly, are matter, being equally capable of hurt or harm; or of compassion or comfort; yet being amenable to patient education and instruction; while also as impatient as lightening's daring darts of devious deceitfulness-threatening destruction.
Words can be sticks or stones that break men's bones, or righteous restorers of men's souls. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/…
Wars have been launched by words, and peace has been secured by them. Doubt not their efficacy.
"Folks can't talk to me any kind of way," my good & late friend, Buddy Gray, used to always say. Meaning by that that one's tongue must write no checks that one's ass can't cash!
Words paint, build, create, illuminate, perforate, pardon, perfume, palliate, condemn, resurrect, regale, woo, warn, destroy. Words encode or decode meanings, veiling & revealing.
Sometimes words, however protean or malleable they may be, will not quite suffice. It is then that "the Holy Spirit makes Intercession for us with groanings that cannot be uttered." http://biblehub.com/romans/8-26.htm
