Working-class neighborhoods of black families that are homeowners, which are anchored by strong neighborhood schools would solve so many social, political, and economic difficulties that confound us. This is not mere speculation. I was blessed to grow up in one such like it in Rockhill, Missouri, Webster Groves School District, 1963-1969.
