BLESSED UNDERGROUND ECONOMY
It would be odd to belong to a hunting lodge, and not have a gun; or to a fishing club without a boat; or, as Malcolm said, to claim that you're a diner and not even have a plate!
Similarly, to be without capital in the world's leading capitalist economy, seems equally odd! As odd as the paradoxes listed above, in fact.
There are many reasons for this lack. They need not be enumerated. The question is what to do about it?
How to gain, extract, divert, and employ capital from this world's #1 global capitalist economy is the number one issue confronting our people, who were formerly capital themselves, until they self-liberated themselves from slavery in 1865.
That same dynamic and creative self-help activism and heroism is needed again to complete the acquisition of freedom, which is, indisputably, monetary and economic in character.
Individualism won't do, although each individual can and must personally contribute to our capitalization by their own individual and group habits, and conduct.
What, then? My suggestion is for each to spend less, and to consume less, consistently; then, to save more regularly from the excess.
Thereafter, to seek opportunity to combine with other like-behaving persons of proven integrity to create new value in the global marketplace, by making, producing or modifying, something of value to be purchased by others.
This is the basic process of capital creation and accumulation. This need not be advertised nor broadcasted!
Too often, jackals, hyenas, snakes, and wolves, have devoured our substance, when we had no recourse at law or other means. So, "blessed quietness, holy quietness" goes the familiar hymn. That is the idea, here. It worked on the Underground Railroad. it can work on this underground economy. Just do what you do with your group, whether family or friends, and be done. Amen.
