POVERTY IS A CRIME
Poverty is a crime in a capitalist economy, being deemed a social disgrace. Yet, the very laws and policies which favor capital accumulation by the privileged few, also disfavor poverty's alleviation of the unprivileged many, leaving such to charity, crime or perilous self-help. "Perilous?" Yes. Such attempts are perceived to be revolutionary, however termed, given political and economic striations protecting status quo.
